These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Wei2Hunt, operated by Wei2Go Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”), a registered business name of LIN, WEI (Individual/Sole Trader, Australia, ABN: 58 446 954 851), at https://wei2hunt.com.
By accessing, browsing, registering for, or otherwise using Wei2Hunt, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
By using the Service, you also acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
1. About Wei2Hunt
Wei2Hunt is an educational game platform designed for children and families, with role-based account types including Parent, Child (shown in-product as a "Hunter profile"), General (13+), and Admin.
These Terms apply when you access Wei2Hunt via web browser or via the installable Progressive Web App (PWA), as both are the same Service delivered from https://wei2hunt.com.
Installing the Progressive Web App (PWA) does not create a separate application or modify these Terms.
These Terms also apply to official related domains and subdomains we operate to deliver the Service, including visitors who use public pages without creating an account.
2. Eligibility and Account Types
- Users under 13 must use parent-managed account flows.
- By registering a General (13+) account, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for child accounts they create/manage.
- If you create or manage an account for a child, you confirm you are a parent, guardian, or otherwise authorized to do so.
- Parent/guardian account holders may switch the current signed-in session into a linked child account they manage.
- Parent/guardian-managed child accounts are typically created for children and may also be created for other household/family play under the parent/guardian's responsibility, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
- You are responsible for actions taken under your account and any linked child account sessions you initiate.
- You must provide accurate registration information.
- You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure.
3. Account Rules and Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- Impersonate others
- Use unsafe, abusive, or policy-violating names/content
- Attempt to cheat, exploit, or interfere with gameplay or leaderboard integrity
- Misuse APIs, payment endpoints, forms, or security controls
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts/systems
- Submit passwords or highly sensitive information in free-text inputs (for example contact messages, display names, or survey responses)
You must only enter passwords in official authentication fields provided for account registration/login/reset/change-password functions.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access for violations.
Session Duration and Persistence
- Standard authenticated sessions are short-lived by default.
- If "Remember me" is selected during login, session persistence may be extended (currently up to 30 days on trusted devices).
- If a parent/guardian switches to a linked child account session, the active session cookie is replaced with the child session, and optional remembered-session behavior may apply where selected.
- You should only use remembered sessions on devices you trust and control.
4. Display Name and Safety Moderation
Wei2Hunt applies safety and moderation controls to hunter codenames (display names) and related text.
We may:
- Reject or require changes to non-compliant names
- Log moderation decisions and related metadata for safety, abuse prevention, and service integrity
You are responsible for ensuring your chosen display name/codename does not include your real name or personal identifiers.
By submitting a display name (hunter codename), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, store, and process that content solely for operating, maintaining, and improving the Service.
5. Gameplay, Leaderboards, and Fair Use
Leaderboard and gameplay systems include integrity and anti-cheat controls. We may remove, invalidate, or restrict records that appear fraudulent, abusive, or technically invalid.
6. Voluntary Contributions (Support Wei2Hunt)
Contributions are optional and support operation and growth of Wei2Hunt.
- Contributions are not a purchase of goods/services and do not unlock in-game advantages.
- Voluntary contributions are support-only, are not payments for access to or use of the Service, and do not increase our liability under these Terms.
- Contributions do not create any ownership interest, membership status, ongoing entitlement, preferential access, or decision-making rights in relation to the Service.
- Wei2Go Studio is not a registered charity. Contributions are voluntary support payments, are not tax-deductible unless independently confirmed by your own tax advisor, and you are responsible for any taxes that may apply.
- By making a contribution, you confirm you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent/legal guardian.
- Contributions are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
- Before completing a contribution, you should carefully review the amount and currency selected. By confirming payment through Stripe, you authorize the full amount displayed at checkout.
- Failed or declined payments are handled by Stripe and do not create completed contribution records.
- Contributions may be displayed and processed in multiple currencies. Where currency conversion occurs, exchange rates and any additional bank or card provider fees are determined by Stripe or your payment provider. We are not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations or additional fees applied by third parties.
- Any refund provided (where required by law or otherwise approved by us) will be issued in the original transaction currency and may be subject to exchange rate differences beyond our control.
- We may impose limits on contribution amounts and may adjust, suspend, or discontinue contribution functionality at any time.
- We reserve the right to review, delay, or decline unusually large or suspicious contribution attempts.
- We reserve the right to suspend or restrict accounts associated with fraudulent, abusive, or disputed payment activity.
Payments are processed through Stripe-hosted checkout. Stripe terms and policies apply to payment processing.
7. Contact and Feedback Submissions
When using contact/feedback features, you must not submit unlawful, abusive, or harmful content.
You must not include passwords or highly sensitive personal information in contact messages.
We may apply anti-spam and abuse-prevention measures (including CAPTCHA/rate controls) and may reject or block misuse.
8. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, Wei2Hunt content, branding, software, design, text, logo, game artworks, character images (including Wobi), item/enemy images, avatars, and other related assets are owned by or licensed to Wei2Go Studio and protected by applicable law.
You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms.
